Jennifer DeSchepper

Director of Human Resources

Jennifer, who has a multi-faceted role,  joined Cartwright Companies in 2018. She is responsible for all aspects of human resources, including payroll, benefits and 401K administration, recruiting, and employee training, engagement and retention, along with facility management. 

Prior to joining Cartwright, Jennifer managed and facilitated multiple recruitment roles, along with managing contractors and supporting special projects with Harley Davidson. Jennifer worked in project management for 15 years before her career shifted into human resources. Jennifer’s strong background in recruiting and contract labor management supports her strategic vision to hire, employ and retain key talent within the various Cartwright Companies. Jennifer has a passion for developing talent, building key benefit programs to drive employee engagement and retention,  coupled with a laser focus on supporting the vision, mission, and culture of the organization.  

Jennifer is an active member of the American Payroll Association and the local and national branches of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).  She is a board member for the Full Employment Council of Eastern Jackson County Workforce Development Board. 

Outside of work, Jennifer and her husband can be found watching their daughters compete in gymnastics, volleyball, and basketball.  Jennifer is also 2nd year President of the PTSA at her daughters’ school. She enjoys relaxing at the Lake of the Ozarks and taking road trips with her family.
